Mediterranean Diner is an iconic symbol of the American diner located in the heart ofBellmore Village. We proudly have mastered the art of casual dining, providing customers with high quality ingredients, generous portions at a reasonable price and a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere that keeps them coming back year after year.
The Atmosphere
Although the Mediterranean Diner offers all your diner classics, it is not your typical diner! When a customer walks in they share a homely feel, similar to the famous TV show “Cheers”. The owners take pride in caring about their customers and everyone knows each other by name. They also are meticulous with serving quality food that is made to order. They are known for how fresh the food is.
Today, it remains true to tradition while offering more dining choices than ever before on its extensive menu, accented with Italian, Greek and Tex-Mex influences. Keeping in the diner tradition, breakfast is served all day, featuring custom omelets, farm fresh eggs any style, pancakes, Belgian waffles and French toast.
The Food
Dozens of sandwiches are available for lunch, from the Classic Reuben (corned beef or pastrami, swiss cheese, grilled sauerkraut on rye) to the Monte Cristo (think slices of challah French toast topped with grilled imported swiss cheese) to Triple Decker Clubs and Classic Burgers. Great sides to accompany sandwiches and burgers include longtime favorite french fries with mozzarella and gravy, potato skins, mozzarella sticks as well as buffalo wings.
We also have a special menu for “Waist Watchers”, offering healthy choices such as turkey burgers, sliced turkey platter, or a cottage cheese salad. Salads come jumbo-sized and can be a meal in themselves. Entrée dishes include pastas and other Italian favorites, hot open plates and broiled seafood. Broiled NY Sirloin Steak and Pork chops are grilled to perfection. For dessert, the options are many, including New York-style cheesecake, Chocolate Layer Cake, Rice Pudding and fresh baked pies, including apple, blueberry, and cherry.
Our Location
Mediterranean Diner is located on Bedford Ave in Bellmore, NY. Breakfast is served all day and a kids menu is available at any time. Please also check out our private party room for your next event! Complete menu packages are available for up to 50 people.
